Introduction/ about myself.
I am a qualified certified, accredited Hypnotherapist/ Counsellor and a full member of the Complimentary Medical Association, based in Campbeltown, Argyll, who will provide a secure and indeed confidential area in which I will be offering both short term or long term hypnotherapy for the hypnosis sessions. I have an empathetic approach, and I understand anxiety and the other subjects I help with, having had the life experience of such, which affords me great insight into those who suffer or have problems. My former work as a health care worker (activities coordinator) in a nursing home further cements my insight into the suffering of others. I have always been interested in the mind and my studies with the Open University focused mainly on the workings of the mind in addition to my post graduate studies. I believe that the mind influences the body and vice versa. A mind ill at ease is an ill at ease body. Hypnotherapy, a deeper consciousness, can provide relief for the troubled mind which is very common. This is whether one session is required or more than one. Relaxation hynotherapy is the underlay of every session undertaken. For example, not losing weight, smoking and lack of confidence all stem from a troubled mind or may be due to other factors too. Hypnotherapy can help with these problems. Hypnotherapy is powerful in this regard, particularly to quiet the mind and put one at total ease. This, as said, could be for anxiety, pain, smoking cessation, weight loss, confidence and so forth. The suggestions put to a person under hypnosis remain in the consciousness and help strengthen the mind in any of these regards.Often pain can also stem from the troubled mind or may be due to injury or suchlike and in either case or indeed both cases, hypnotherapy for pain, pain and healing and pain management can help, whether for acute pain or indeed longterm pain such as arthritis and, some research has shown, common symptons associated with cancer. Some evidence shows that cancer patients usually use hypnotherapy for pain and anxiety relief, and it indeed helps, inducing comfort and control. Anecdotally, patients have had cancer remission. Indeed additionally, hypnotherapy can be much quicker than other therapies.
